Betta Breeding

Currently there are new pairs breeding almost every couple weeks. Keep checking back to this page for the updated and current breeding pairs along with plans for future pairs when available. 

Currently breeding collection includes a bit of everything. I have HMPK in multiple colour variations, FCCP in coppers, pinks, orange, and yellow. Dragon scale HMPK. Blue Avatars. Short and long tailed Dumbos. HMPK blue marbles. HMKP candy. Giants in solid colours along with Koi, Nemo and Galaxy Koi. HM copper, copper reds and blue red. HMPK hell boys and hell boy FCCP variations. 

All breeding is done in Canada, fry are raised in local well water and fed a variation of live and freeze fried foods. Shipping is currently being organized but in the mean time on all live stock purchases only local pick up is available.

This weeks breeding!!! Its a fresh start to 2021. Some big plans for this year. 

In the Live a Betta Life fish room we have some giant CTPK breeding happening. there are two pairs put together. In pair one we have a pink giant male with a pink/blue mulit CT female. And in the second pairing we have a red/blue copper giant male with a multi CT female. 

The fist pair did very well, have a few babies and worked together during the breeding process. The second pair has eggs in the nest as of yesterday, the female has been taking out. By end of day tomorrow we will start to see little tails hanging from the bubble nest from all the little fry feeding off their eggs. Will be a couple days before they are free swimming. 

The first group of fry is just getting through their first week and are doing well. The first 10 days are the toughest for the new fry- they need a lot of attention and care to make sure the tank and feeding levels is perfect for them. 

We are excited to see the second group of fry develop and see what color types we get from these two pairings.
